Day 1: After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

The first view as you approach Lake Manyara National Park is very spectacular, regardless of direction.  When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley the escarpment horns on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake.  If you come from the west and pause at the top of the escarpment, the park lies in a green strip below you and the lake glistening in the sunlight.  This beautiful park is at the base of the Great Rift Valley   escarpment and comprises of forest, woodland, grasslands, swamps and part of Lake Manyara itself.

Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to Serengeti National Park.

The Park is teaming with wildlife and it is thought that over million large mammals roam the plains.  The extensive grasslands are interspersed with “kopjes” – which are roday outcrops like islands in the flat plains, each with its own wildlife communities.

• Dinner and overnight at Seronera lodge/campsite at seronera.

Day 3: Sunrise adventure in Serengeti.

It is migration for which Serengeti is perhaps is most famous, over 1.5 million wildebeests and about 400,000 zebras take part in this migration which essentially involves three famous and important protected areas – Serengeti and Ngorongoro in Tanzania and the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya.  It is a clockwise migratory movement during which  Sequence, the animals start arriving at the eastern Serengeti shortgrass plains in late November- December where calving of the wildebeests takes place.  At the end of the long rains, the migration heads west wards and then turns north to arrive in Masai Meru reserve in late August – September

Day 4: Morning adventure on the crater floor (home of the big five).

The animals here are not trapped, but there are some migratory movements in and out of the crater. Because of the protected nature of the habitat and the availability of grazing pastures and water, much of the animal population has become resident year round. This makes Ngorongoro an ideal area for game viewing.

Ngorongoro Crater is the 8^th wonder of the world. It hosts an estimated 30,000 large mammals on its floor, including large herds of buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, hartebeest elephants, hippos, lions and the endangered black rhino. The crater being 12 miles wide 2,000 feet deep, and covering an area of 102 square miles, it is the largest intact volcanic crater on the earth. Picnic lunch at the crater floor, afternoon game drive on the crater floor. Late afternoon transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your flight back home.

Day 1: Nairobi –Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Leisure Luxury Tented Camp or Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game viewing, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds.

Day 2: Masai Mara

Two days dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village or a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an exhilarating experience!

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Victoria

After breakfast, drive to Isebania Border. Exchange vehicles and proceed to Lake Victoria. Afternoon at leisure – you can visit the Lake or enjoy boat ride at an extra cost.

Day 4: Lake Victoria – Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti. Game drive in the park with packed lunches.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After breakfast, another game drive until lunch time –After lunch -drive to Ngorongoro –Dinner and overnight at –Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Rhino Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha

After breakfast, early morning visit the crater with picnic lunches. Evening drive to Arusha –for dinner and overnight at – Arusha Silver PalmHotel.

Day 2: After breakfast transfer to Serengeti.

It is thought that over 3 million large mammals roam the plains of Serengeti National Park.  These extensive grassland are interspersed with kopjes , each with its own wildlife communities.

• Dinner and overnight at Seronera Lodge/campsite.

Day 3: Sunrise adventure to the western corridor (full day)

Much of the western vegetation in this area is of wooded, grassland type inhabited by woodland dwelling mammals like the topis, hartebeests, elephants, impalas, and many others.  Here you will also have good chance of seeing huge crocodiles which inhabits the Grumeti river, and some black and white colobus monkeys utilizing the reparian habitat of the same river.

• Evening drive back to Seronera
• Dinner and overnight at Seronera Lodge/Campsite.

Day 4: Morning game drive in Serengeti.

Much concentration is focused on the Serengeti plains where there are high probabilities of spotting some cheetahs and brides of lions lying on the top of kopjes as their advantage points.

• Afternoon dransfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
• Game drive at the Crater floor.
• Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite/Lodge

Day 5: Early morning half day crater tour.

Day 6: Afternoon transfer to Tarangire National Park

It is the number of baobabs that first capture the eye as you enter Tarangire National Park.  The gently rolling countryside is dotted with these majestic trees, which seem to dwarf the animals that feed beneath them.  The park is very spectacular in the dry season when many of the migratory wildlife species have come back to the permanent water of Tarangire River.

Morning gamedrive in Lake Burungi circuit.

A tour in the area offers you an assurance of seeing large flocks of Flamingos and other aquatic birds in Lake Burungi as well as an isolated population of oryx resident to the area.  (What about lunch?)

Afternoon game drives along Tarangire River.

Game drive along the river will offer you the opportunity of seeing huge herds of wildebeests, zebras, elephants, impalas, elands and many others which have come to the river to drink water.  These animals will continue staying in the park until the onset of the rainy season when they start moving out of the park again.

Dinner and overnight at a Lodge/campsite.

Day 7: After early breakfast, transfer to Arusha National Park for a half day tour.

After picnic lunch at a view point, the rest of the day is spent for game viewing, The tour covers various aquatic habitats including Momella Lakes and swamps, Ngurdoto crater and several open glades.

Return to Moshi/Arusha for overnight
